An old outpost perched on the eastern silk road. Built by enterprising merchants to shelter, beasts, goods, and the soldiers who defend them, this small eastern settlement's white walls and well are a god-send to those who must travel along the great road. Housing a great stable, the Shai-Hulud Inn, and several artisanal workshops, the low walls have stood firm in the face of bandit raids and other dangers.

It is rumored to be built on the remains of an ancient fey ruin, with the lower levels and narrow chambers that have long since been forgotten. In recent months strange sightings have occurred in the sky, and it's whispered that dark spirits walk the small streets in the moonlight. What lay beneath this outpost under the hot sands?
