Local legends speaks of a shrine in uplands dedicated to an unyielding sentinel, a massive wolf like creature who fell in battle protecting this remote valley long ago. Though he was stricken with a mortal wound, he rose again to defy his enemies once more. The grateful folk constructed a shrine to this noble creature, and luck and light have laid over the valley ever since. However in recent years, many who make the pilgrimage to the shrine have disappeared, never to return, and its whispered that is has become a place of dread. Evil has spread, and spirits can be seen overlooking the village, or shadowing those who go into the woods.

Will you brave these shrouded woods and uncover the mystery of the corrupted shrine? Or will you and your fellows' number among the fallen spirits that roam these highlands?
